My name is Reagan Martin, and I am a health, fitness, and travel enthusiast! I graduated in May of 2018 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with my Bachelors Degree in Health, Human Performance, and Sport Management. I concentrated in Health Education and Promotion, and minored in Health and Exercise Science and Philosophy. During my Junior year at UALR, I studied abroad at the University of Stirling in Scotland for five months, where I immersed myself into new cultures and found a passion to travel. I visited 13 European countries during my stay, and I’m looking forward to planning my next adventure abroad!
I have always been interested in health and fitness, from my many years as a competitive gymnast and ongoing hobby of high-intensity boxing, to my role as a NETA Certified Personal Trainer and USA Gymnastics Professional Member. My knowledge in this field is extensive and constantly growing as I work toward my goal of obtaining my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am currently employed at Bowen Hefley Orthopedics as a Physical Therapy Technician, and also work as a Recreational Director and Head Competitive Gymnastics Coach at River City Gymnastics. Ultimately, I’d like to specialize in Pediatric Sports Therapy to assist in injury prevention and help children work through medical sports restrictions. Devoting so many years to coaching has really taught me how to connect and share my knowledge with children, and I intend to continue doing that through my professional career. I want to lead by example and impact kids in an irreplaceable way, all while committing myself to exercise education and encouraging others.
My goals are set in front of me. Now watch me reach them!
